Social Studies, New Era is a scholarly journal published biannually by the Department for Regional Cultural Studies (DECR), University of Guadalajara. Its content, focusing on Social Sciences and Humanities, is multidisciplinary and reflects a wide range of perspectives as they do not favor a thematic, disciplinary, theoretical or methodological approach in particular, or favoring a rigid regional orientation. The journal welcomes articles produced from any social science discipline and original research that favor social analysis to address problems in other disciplines.
